Hi! 

I’m Debbie Griffiths, founder and lead half of Canine Couple. 

I’ve been a dog lover since I was a little girl – when I was much smaller than Sam, our first Boxer. Since then, a mix of pedigrees and rescues called Max, Scamp, Tana, Brogan, Jessie, Bruza, Jack, Milo, Baxter and now Arlo have all been part of the family. 

After a long and varied career in teaching and corporate communications, I've been following my dreams - volunteering and working with animals - for the past few years. 

I set myself up as a professional dog walker (trading as DG Walkies) in autumn 2023, specialising in solo walks tailored to each dog's needs. 

My business has steadily grown from a single client to multiple regulars and repeat ad hoc bookings. From dinky Dachshunds to majestic Great Danes and everything in between.

My husband, Mark, retired from mental health counselling in 2025 and now helps me out with drop ins and walkies.  Hence the name change to Canine Couple.
